EXPERIENCE

Alicia Jones has a diverse and extensive real estate background and has provided paralegal support to attorneys working with public entities, individuals and companies in the areas of eminent domain (for both the condemnee and the condemnor), real estate tax protests, zoning and land use, landlord/tenant, lien law and real estate acquisition and sales transactions. She has vast experience in all phases of real estate litigation issues in civil district court and appellate courts, and spin-off district court litigation. Her background has also been complemented by her work with a title company as an abstractor and residential real estate closer, further expanding her real estate knowledge.

Ms. Jones is particularly adept at organizing, coordinating, managing and performing all aspects of real estate litigation case management, docketing and file administration. In addition, she provides support and assists in the preparation of documents, trial exhibits, condemnation hearings and depositions/discovery, as well as coordinating meetings, hearings and mediation. She is also skilled and proficient in all types of research relating to real estate matters.

Prior to joining Malkerson Gunn Martin LLP, Ms. Jones was associated with the firms of Randall Dehn & Goodrich and Thomason Law Office.
